The second BRILLIANT meeting was held in Faenza on 3 June

The second meeting of the BRILLIANT project – Biobased fibre reinforced composites vaLidation and end of LIfe treAtmeNT was held in Faenza on 3 June 2024.

The project, financed thanks to the European Funds of the Emilia-Romagna Region, aims to develop composite materials with reduced environmental impact through the use of natural fibres combined with hydrophobic and ecological protective treatments and associated with bio-based resins.

The meeting was attended by the industrial partners of the project (BLACKS, Curti Costruzioni Meccaniche, CROSSFIRE, NALUCOAT, TAMPIERI ENERGIA) and research partners (NANOPROM CHEMICALS (coordinator), ENEA TEMAF, CERTIMAC and ROMAGNA TECH). During the meeting, the research activities to date was presented and the technical and scientific activities to be carried out between the various partners were defined and planned.
